Removable Sticker Paper: Repositionable Self-Adhesive Labels

Removable sticker paper uses a low-tack adhesive designed to peel off cleanly and leave no residue. It is the stock behind price labels, promotional stickers and temporary markings that have to come off a surface without damaging it.

Removable does not mean weak. A well-made removable label stays in place during normal handling, but releases when it is deliberately peeled.

Where removable adhesive is used

The classic uses are retail price labels, sale stickers, window promotions and temporary product or equipment labels. It also suits stickers that customers expect to reposition, such as planner and packaging decorations.

Peel performance over time

Removable adhesive is specified by tack and by how it behaves over time and temperature. The right grade peels cleanly days or weeks later; the wrong grade, especially on low-energy plastics or in heat, can leave residue or dry into a permanent bond.

Paper and film faces

Removable adhesive works on paper and on synthetic films. Paper is standard for indoor retail; removable vinyl or PP is used where the label must also be waterproof or more durable while still peeling cleanly.

FAQ

Will it leave residue?

A correctly chosen removable adhesive peels without residue on normal surfaces such as glass, paper and painted metal. Always test on the actual surface, since low-energy plastics and rough or aged surfaces change the result.

How long does it stay removable?

Removability is designed for a defined window, commonly weeks to a few months depending on the adhesive and surface. After that window the bond may strengthen.
